The Toshiba MG07SCA14TE is a 14TB enterprise-capacity hard drive from Toshiba’s MG07 series. It is helium-sealed for lower power and heat, spins at 7,200 RPM, and has a 12Gb/s SAS interface with a 256MB cache. Rated for 550TB per year of workload, it is built for 24/7 servers, NAS and backup storage.

Will it work with a SATA controller?
No. SAS drives need a SAS controller or SAS backplane. Most server RAID controllers support SAS.
